Philippine Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013 - Part 1
Here are some of the runway photos I've taken during fashion week. Check out the SNAPSHOTS button for more hi-res photos (random or not).

Letter of Returnee
I know. You don't have to say it. I skipped two months. Two freaking months without updating. I'm sorry. But unlike many occurrences before, I think this time my reason is legit.
Fashion week started.
Let me start of with Zac Efron visiting the Philippines. To all my readers here in my country, I think ya'll know how that went down. Now , how was that part of fashion week? Well simply because he came all the way here to endorse Penshoppe, a Filipino clothing brand who has been part of fashion week for the longest time.
Runway Productions was the team behind the fan conference, and crazy wouldn't even begin to describe how it was. I pretty much got death threats from little girls when I had to cut the line for the meet and greet. It sounds funny now but at that time, I seriously wanted to shake all them furiously. Haha!
I'm sorry if you're reading this and you were among them.
I did meet him face to face, got to talk to him a little too. Really nice guy. Just too charming for my liking. But he's still ZAC EFRON, so whatevs! Haha. No pictures though. Company policy. ;)
Anyways, moving on to Spring/Summer 2013... Pre-prod started quite normally. We did the usual routines: castings, meetings, fittings and shoots. There were a lot of stressful days but it was all part of it. Things got even more major when fashion week really came. Everyone was a multi-tasker, juggling two to three things at the same time. I didn't even bother thinking much about my outfits anymore. Hopefully, I still looked presentable even if I was literally a zombie. haha!
I could think of a lot of things to tell to you all but words seem to fail me at the moment. I'm scared that once I start, it'll be like opening the flood gates of who knows where. haha! But one thing that made this season so special for me is that it's my 2nd anniversary along with my other colleagues and friends.
Happy anniversary to us! You know who y'all are!
I hope that everyone who came, watched and supported Philippine Fashion Week last week enjoyed their time there. We literally gave our all for that.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Hustling
Things have been pretty hectic since I came back to work over the summer. There was a lot to handle and a lot to take in. So many changes and so many responsibilities were added that there was no time for dilly-dallying. My life consisted of early mornings and late nights -even up to the next break of dawn.
I'm writing this in between working on a Saturday in my house -which I prefer, to be honest- and being the daughter that my family hasn't seen in a while. So this would be a quick post just to let everyone know that I am still alive.
Quick updates:
1. No more pink and peach hair for me. Changed it to purple. Haha! Remind me to take a good photo of it!
2. The dark circles underneath my eyes look like it got magnified thrice.
3. I had to relearn to love pants or else I would freeze to death.
4. I haven't gone out for at least a hundred years. (Yes, I am exaggerating!)
There's only about less than 2 weeks before Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2012, and I am more than excited for all of these we're doing to come together. There's a lot of things to look forward to that all of these hardships and sacrifices make it worth while.
Let me give a quick shout out to Team Hazard! You know who you are!
Check out the schedule above and pick the ones you're going to watch -or better yet, watch everything! Haha! Don't forget to visit our website to know how to get e-invites for the show/s, and follow us on twitter for more information!
Hopefully, I'll be able to post something up before fashion week starts.
And oh btw, thank you Status Magazine for the awesome canvas bag!

Round Up: PFW Holiday 2011 LSS
So here's a round up of some of the songs from Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2011 that got us all pumped up during this season. Some of them even got us all singing even after the week itself!
1. "I've Got Your Number" - Passion Pit
Well, if you were at the L'Oreal Launch then you'd probably heard this song. Unfortunately for me I wasn't there. But fortunately, my mama shared this song to us after we got back from a fitting earlier that day.
2. "Beautiful" - Patrick Nuo
Ever since I heard this song that faithful early morning during the For Me rehearsals, I can't help but remember the very colorful Direk Raymond strutting his stuff down the runway. He was perfect for the show. And so was this song!
3. "Go Outside" - Cults
Okay. So this song wasn't used in any runway shows or from the afterpartys but this was one of the songs that got stuck on me during fashion week itself. The tune haunted me for a day because I couldn't seem to remember the title, thus making it hard for me to find it in my itunes -to the point of asking one of my interns if she knew the tune. Later that night, I typed in the words "Emma Roberts, music video, outside" in youtube and, lo and behold, I found it.
Sorry, I can't seem to find the real music video where Emma Roberts and Dave Franco were featured.
4. "Hello" - Martin Solveig & Dragonette
It was during the Oxygen Afterparty when The Misshapes played this song, and we started partying like there was no 7am calltime the next day. Ever since then, we all got hooked to this song. It was our afterparty theme song 'cause it was also played during the L'Oreal afterparty.
5. "Charmer" - Kings of Leon
There's always that one song that you play over and over again just because it makes you all charged up in whatever you do. And for me, this was the song during fashion week. I'd play it every single morning for a couple of times just so I'd stay awake the whole time. The screeching was perfect for waking me up while the bass lines keeps me on the charging up mode.
6. "She A Model" - YG
I guess this was the first song I got hooked on since last season up to now. If you've seen the CalCarrie's commercial, then you'd probably know what I mean when I say: it's addicting. "Bomp bomp bomp bomp... She a model. She walk in runways..." was what everyone was singing by the end of the week and even after the week itself. Let me post the original song and the link to the CalCarrie's commercial. (For more info about CalCarrie's Philippines, like us on Facebook!)
7. "Party Rock Anthem" - LMFAO
This song was anything but perfect as we celebrated the success of Holiday 2011 that Sunday night.
8."Rolling in the Deep" - Adele
Remixed, original, cover, live... we heard it all. Who could ever forget about this song? This is like the ultimate LSS song for everyone -and I mean, everyone who went to fashion week last May. I am also proud to say that a lot of people have became fans of this song as well as the artist because of this song.
Well, there you go guys! Just some of the songs that helped me out -and others- during fashion week. Y'all enjoy listening to them! xMafia

Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2011
Crazy would be an understatement to describe PFW Holiday 2011. It's my second time to be part of it and this time, I was an assistant for the model relations head. So I was in for a much crazier ride.
I guess this season was sort of a better experience but of course, I can't help but miss my friends from last season. I miss you guys!
Learned and experienced a lot this time. Met new and amazing people... and became good friends with. Definitely worth spending my summer for. Hopefully, I still get to go back next season.
Here's a couple of pictures I borrowed from friends since I didn't bring my camera with me. It's true what they say... A picture tells a thousand words.
